The Children’s Inn

The Children’s Inn at NIH is a residential “Place Like Home’’ for families with children participating in leading-edge research studies at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. The NIH Clinical Center is the nation’s premier biomedical research hospital, providing an opportunity for our residents to be partners in advancing medical discoveries and improving the health of people all over the world. While the NIH takes care of the child’s medical needs, The Inn tends to the child’s heart, soul and spirit.

The magic Foundation

The MAGIC Foundation is a charitable non-profit organization created to provide support services for the families of children afflicted with a wide variety of chronic and/or critical disorders, syndromes and diseases that affect a child's growth.

The MAGIC Foundation's mission is to reduce the emotional and physical trauma caused by growth disorders, resulting in healthier, happier children and consequently, adults. Our Motto: Children have a short time to grow and a lifetime to live with the results! Together we are MAGIC!

The FD/MAS Alliance

The mission of the FD/MAS Alliance is to:

• Promote mutual support through support groups and networking opportunities

• Promote increased awareness, knowledge and understanding about fibrous dysplasia (FD), McCune-Albright syndrome (MAS), cherubism and other related diseases among medical professionals.

• Fund and encourage research into treatments and a cure for FD, MAS, cherubism and related diseases; and

• Develop and provide information and referrals for

  • People with FD, MAS, cherubism and related diseases and their families

  • Medical professionals

  • Other care providers.
